I have read the story of Indra being transformed into

a hog then being reluctant to return to heaven. If

such a powerful demigod can be so affected by maya

then it must be said that only devotees constantly

engaged in remembering Krsna's pastimes are safe and

certain to return to the spiritual world. And that a

devotee's material position bears little relevance on
