Guest guest Posted July 11, 2004 Report Share Posted July 11, 2004 the tendency to fight has made me find faults in the works of srila prabhupada. one who is wise does not speak harshly about any one, what to speak of great ones. with whatever little humility i can muster i fall at the feet of all the devotees and seek forgiveness for this. also, i would like to post this small rhyme as an offering. oh! lord, all faiths come from you and deserve the respect they are due dualism has come forth by your mercy due to my ignorance that i cant see at your feet is srila prabhupad to find fault is a great aparad for teaching about you did he write no use finding faults seemingly bright vedanta is experiential knowlede not a thing you learn in a college without experience speaks my mind my words cant break away the bind only out of love did speak sankara to defend him with pride is bhayankara what is there for me to defend great ones may i never again offend my humble obeisanes to srila prabhupada and all the vaishnav acharyas, oh! catur pada Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Lord Krishna often speaks quite strongly (e.g., Gita, 9.11), as do the sastras in general (e.g., Bhagavatam, 5.5.1). So do those willing to repeat whatever such authorities say, because they know that real humility means doing what God wants, irregardless of any personal risks this entails. Lord Caitanya asked Indians especially to repeat Krsna's instructions to everyone they meet.
