Guest guest
you have not explained why "bhaaga anantyaaya" has not been translated. it is not a question of interpretation as you said. before one finds flaws in the teachings of acharyas like adi sankara, one should translate withour error. you have not defended the translation. the translation is important not just because an acharya should not make carelesss mistakes. though vyasa, suka etc., do not make mistakes that is not the only point. if we take the complete translation of the verse, you will note that the jiva does not have a material dimension (division by infinity). your particle theory is against the conclusion of the sastras. so, my original question remains : how does a jiva who has no material size or location "really" move from one place to another ? regarding your question, how the all-pervading brahman, it will be clear when you read adi sankara's works with attention. if it is not presented in a traditional way, it will lead to the common place mayavada - "i am god, you are god", which srila prabhupada was right in attacking. also, i will deal with your other questions as part of the presentation of sariraka bhashya, which you have kindly allowed on this forum. brifly - that the jiva is brahman will established reasonably well through direct statements of the lord in BG chapter 2, and BG 13.2-3. Also from the direct statements of the shruti such as tat tvam asi. it will also be shown how advaitam is not an offense but dualism is.
