Guest guest Posted July 19, 2004 Report Share Posted July 19, 2004 Dear devotees, As mentioned in my previous message, starting now there will be a 1- month trial of "no moderation" on postings. What this means is that postings by members will not be scrutinized by anyone before making it onto the list. All members are asked to read and follow the rules, but since I will no longer moderate each posting, I will not be able to enforce them effectively. Please feel free to have any discussions you feel I would not have allowed otherwise - since I am not moderating anymore this coming month, I can no longer be accused of bias. I am going to be busy this coming month, so this works out well for me. After the end of a month, we can have a discussion or a poll to decide whether to continue this more liberal approach or return to the previous approach of me manually moderating all postings. PLEASE NOTE: I *will* take action if I find any blatant violations of the Achintya list rules - like personal attacks, posting of links to inappropriate websites, etc. The more blatant the offense, the more severe the penalty.
