Guest guest
And things just don't always go the way we think or want them to go. They don't take the straight course we would like them to. But ultimately we're not in control and Lord has His plan above ours. Just consider the case of Devaki and Vasudeva. They were such pure devotees that the Lord agreed to appear as their son. Still before their very eyes they had to watch from behind bars six, not just one or two, six children brutally killed in front of their very eyes. THe seventh one disappeared and now they are waiting for the eigth one in great fear. Still they never wavered in their faith in the Lord. When Lord finally killed Kamsa and when our two heros have returned from Ujjain, Devaki heard that He brought back the dead son of their teacher Sandipani Guru. So why not for your own parents? Then it was revealed that they were all under a curse to be killed by their own father born as Kamsa and thus were liberated from that curse. Krishna brought them there and even though grownup they drank the breast milk of Devaki and immediately got liberation and went to the spiritual world having tasted the Mahaprasad of the Lord. Santan Goswami in his Tika on this verse asks the question that how was Devaki's milk Mahaprasad when they were raised by Yashoda? He explains that at birth Devaki thought that now Vasudeva is going to take the Lord on a long journey to Gokul and He might feel hungry so she suckled him a while first before Vasudeva took Him away.
