Guest guest Posted August 5, 2004 Report Share Posted August 5, 2004 Folks, I love the enthusiasm with which people like to discuss, pose questions, answer questions, etc. But please, please, PLEASE, can we take the time to delete excess quoted text from replies? Don't just blindly hit "reply" and "send" without knowing what you are sending. These last few days we have been seeing an increased frequency of postings which contain 100 lines of quoted text with only 1-2 sentence replies. This is equivalent to "internet pollution" and is very inconsiderate to list members, especially those who to the digest. The digest will be needlessly lengthened and more difficult to read. I have made this request many times before in the past, but for some reason it keeps happening. I am seriously thinking about changing the offenders over to "digest" subscription so that they can see just how annoying it is. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
