This would demonstrte how powerful he is! But does not disclose his identity as the supreme. I mean he lifted a Govardhan for 7 day and nights. When he did that Nanda and the Cowhearders took shelter of Him (similar to the snake incident). But still they were not convinced. They would put up there sticks to help Krsna to support the hill.
