Guest guest
In the Prathama Caitanyastaka by Srila Rupa Gosvami, Srila Rupa Gosvami (an eyewitness of SCM's activities) states in text 5: hare krsnety uccaih sphurita-rasano nama-ganana... that he chanted Hare Krsna mantra with a loud voice. It doesn't say the Hare Rama mantra. Now if we accept that SCM is the SPOG, as affirmed by many many quotations from the Vedas, Puranas, etc., then it would appear to be authorized enough. dharman tu saksad bhagavat pranitam...dharma is enunciated by the Lord. Furthermore, when Acyutananda Swami questioned Prabhupada about this reversed order of the mantra in Kali-santarana Upanisad, SP simply laughed and said if we liked we could chant it that way. He further explained that we chant it in the way SCM did, accepting His authority in the matter. This challenge business seems rather silly. If by the chanting we feel the current of spiritual ecstasy, then all of this pendantry become superfluous. Rupa-vilasa dasa
