Guest guest
Hare Krsna! I have one question: recently on one sadhu's lecture I heard that our karma determines happiness and distress. If I understood correctly, it is not that particular events are determined, rather feelings of happiness and distress. So if we did something wrong to someone, we have to experience the same amount of distress that we caused, not necessarily the same action (if we stole something, it doesn't mean that we will be robbed, although the same event most probably will correspond the best for the same amount of distress). Can you kindly put some more light on this? And also some scriptural references would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Your servant Nina Check out the new Front Page. www. Guest guest
HariboL! just a quick and brief reply. According to Prahlad maharaj, the material happiness and distress come according to our past deeds/karma.. so he tells us not even to endeavour for them, but just face wat comes with steadiness. BUT he says that spiritual part is wat we shud endeavour for as its not based on past deeds and its based on our free-will! but my problem is, how to distinguish between material and spiritual activities clearly.! --- nina <ynincay wrote: > Hare Krsna! > I have one question: recently on one sadhu's lecture > I > heard that our karma determines happiness and > distress.
