Guest guest
There is a clear difference between a devotee and a non-devotee - one is engaged in Krsna's service and the other in maya's. Prabhupada said we should reach the point of thinking about Krsna twenty-four hours a day and this is full Krsna consciousness. So this is a simple test of how Krsna conscious someone is - how much of each twenty-four hours they think of Krsna. We are told that the great devotees of Krsna could chant for something like twenty-three hours a day and were continually absorbed in trance. So although the Krsna consciousness process is natural a great deal of effort is required to achieve the ultimate goal.
