Guest guest Posted January 31, 2005 Report Share Posted January 31, 2005 hello, my name is mick. i will keep this as short as possible. 7 years ago i was disillusioned with material life. i had just bought £100 worth of CDs in town and i thought to myself "this is ridiculous - buying plastic silver discs to make myself happy. there has to be more to life.." moments after this thought i was approached by a devotee who sold me a copy of 'journey of self discovery'. it was literally an answer to a prayer. soon after i went to a 'rave' and met a devotee in the carpark. i had read about the bhagavad gita and asked the devotee for a copy. although i didn't have the full price of the book he sold it to me anyway. study of both these books led me to great spiritual happiness in the face of material miseries. i have made steady progress and need contact with other devotees. i dont have transport to get to temples (and some temples i am confused- are they ISKCON, guadya matha, etc). hare krishna Read only the mail you want - Mail SpamGuard.
