Questions about improving chanting are common, on this forum and in general

among devotees. Among many suggestions and tips, very helpful for improving

chanting is to read at least one or two passages daily from Sri Namamrta (a

compilation of Srila Prabahupada's quotes on chanting), preferably just

before starting japa.

H.H.Sacinandana maharaja also wrote a nice book that include many beautiful

quotes about chanting; unfortunately, I don't remember the title, as I gave mine

away. It was something like "the nectarean ocean of chanting," or some such.
