What is an aparadha?

By definition, aparadha means not being worshipful. One is an aparadhi

if at any moment he deviates from worshipping. It is applicable to the

lord in general and vaishnavas when one talks about vaishnava aparadha.

 

Being envious, finding faults, fighting, causing harm, rejecting,

ignoring, not serving, false humility, acting mechanically without

heartfelt attachment and so on and on, are simply symptoms of this

basic defect of not having devotion. Instead of curing the symptoms,

one may choose to remove the ignorance that causes attachment by

cultivation of proper knowledge... And pray for lord's mercy.
