Guest guest
Hare Krishna. Please accept my humble obeisances. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada. I have come across the following url: - http://sriranganatha.tripod.com This website contains articles on Sri Vaishnavism and some are directed towards refuting the Gaudiya Siddhanta. Without going into personal criticisms, would any devotee on this list care to comment on the siddhantic aspect of these refutations from the Gaudiya viewpoint? ys jai simman jakarta FareChase: Search multiple travel sites in one click. http://farechase. I'm not interested in commenting/refuting these so-called refutations. The e-mail address on the front page is one that I recognize - it belongs to a South Indian engineer living in Switzerland with whom I had several heated (on his part, not mine) discussions re: Chaitanaya paramapara via Madhva. The "refutations" are verbatim articles taken from Anand Karalapakkam's postings on the Bhakti List years ago. I very much doubt if our Swiss-Indian engineer friend even understands them. Anyway, Gerald and I have addressed many of these points of Anand's in the past but he just keeps going. Vinode is the same. You can't have a discussion with someone who is convinced he is correct. But by all means, if someone else wants to post a refutation, feel free. Myself, I'm kind of tired of having to beat dead horses. Which is not to say it isn't a worthwhile endeavor in principle... just realize that you will probably have the same experience I did: you'll do all this work and assemble all this evidence, only to have everything you said ignored and the "refutations" continue. These people should realize that there are bigger threats to their "parama vaidika sampradayam" than Gaudiya Vaishnavism. I asked the question of Vinode, and I will ask it again here. If all these Vaishnava brahmins from the South are so interested in propagating their religion and having all sorts of esoteric discussions which they probably don't understand, then why are they leaving their traditional callings in India for the West to become software professionals? Guest guest
As far as i have heard,it is sarvasamvadhini where ABAT doctrine is exlplained and i am afraid if baladeva's has mentioned it at all. It would be great if some one comes up with a tranlsation of that. Once we have that then we can attempt to compare and judge the 2 schools of thought.
