I downloaded some of the available fonts and uploaded them to the files section of the achintya web page. Also, some of these fonts can be found at the sites whose URLs appear under the links section. I'm trying to find all possible Sanskrit fonts and either make them available from our website or at least have a link to them. You should be able to add any links also. The ksyberspace website (www.ksyberspace.com) does have some of the fonts, along with a couple of programs that convert fonts from transliteration to Sanskrit. An even nicer program is Itranslator, which is available at one of the sites listed under the files section (I think it is either under the fonts or Sanskrit directory). This program requires specific fonts, but allows you to convert Itrans text into devanagari and/or Roman transliteration.

If the purpose of the project is to print out a paper that others will read, then it really does not matter. If you are trying to produce a web document with the font, then you will want to distribute the font with the web document. Again, any font could do. Many ISKCON devotees will likely have the Balaram and/or Tamal fonts. I don't know if that helps.
