Also Madhva uses the word upadhi in an intrinsic sense: he says the jiva is an upadhi of God, but what he means is that it cannot be changed, unlike the bhedabhedavadins. This 4 volume Nimbarka Vedanta publication of Agarwal is great with copious notes on general Vedanta. I would love to see something like this for us.
