Guest guest
Haribol Dvijamani Prabhu (HHRavindrasvarupa, Phila), I want to introduce you to this Achintya List which has Mukunda Datta Prabhu (ACBSP, Seattle), Vijay Pai (Houston), Krishna Susarla (Cleveland), and Radha Krishna Dasa (TKG, Houston) on it. We discuss any type of philosophical issues that come up. This is an extremely low volume list. We hope you would join us. Anyway, I spoke to Pradyumna Dasa (ACBSP) and he said that Krsnadasa Baba's devanagari Govindabhasya (with Hindi translation) is in SP's library in the LA temple. He also met Bhaktisrirupa SIddhanti Maharaj who put out Baladeva Vidyabhusana's commentaries on Gita/4 volume VedantaSutra/Isopanisad with his own. He said that this Maharaj is a disciple of BHaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur. He recently left his body a few years ago. His matha-s are in Puri, Calcutta and I think Mayapura. He engaged a smarta-pandit (does that mean Mayavadi?) to help produce the 4 volume Govinda bhasya. I would like to get a copy of that Krsnadasa Baba edition in SP's library. Who is in charge? ys Gerald

Govinda dasi told me recently that she had Prabhupada's Caitanyacaritamrta volume (i.e., that which he used for his own edition) replete with Prabhupada's handwritten notes all through it--until her former husband Gaurasundar came and stole away with it.
