Dear Gerald,

Hare Krsna. Pranams.

We have read some previous postings of yours on the dvaita.org

website. Many of the points you made were greatly appreciated by

ourselves, as we are quite involved in defending the validity of the

Gaudiya Vaishnava Parampara and especially Srila Prabhupada and his

teachings. We have one query regarding the following quote from a

Mathadipati in Udupi, that you posted on the dvaita mailing list in

April 1997:

"Another expression of appreciation was made on Sri Madhvacarya's

750th anniversary celebrations when one of the Maadhva pithaadhipatis

spent the first half of his lecture glorifying Srimad Acharya as the

world's ultimate acharya. Then, in a mood reflecting his profound

humility, he proceeded to praise ISKCON's founder (Prabhupada) in the

presence of many Maadhva sannyasis and devotees: 'all of us are

particles of dust at the feet of the disciples of Prabhupada who are

teaching the message of bhakti and the Bhagavata all over the

world.'" http://www.dvaita.org/list/list_10/msg00133.html

We would like to know the source of this information since a recent

posting by Shrisha Rao claims that Pejavara Swami denies saying this.

(If it is indeed Pejavara Swami you are referring to.) We will keep

this and any other information anonymous if you so desire.

They are trying to discredit the Gaudiya Vaishnavas, ISKCON, Srila

Prabhupada and our previous acaryas. We would be most grateful for

any information which you could provide. You may like to visit our

presentation on this subject at:

I hope this meets you well

Swami B V Giri
