Guest guest
The 10,000 sons of Prajaapati Daksha, on the order of their father to create progeny, performed rigorous austerities and worshipped the Lord with this mantra: o.m namo naaraayaNaaya puruShaaya mahaatmane | vishuddhasattvadhiShNyaaya mahaaha.msaaya dhiimahi || bhaa 6.5.28 || o.m - O Lord; namaH - respectful obeisances; naaraayaNaaya - unto Lord Naaraayana; puruShaaya - the Supreme Person; mahaa-aatmane - the exalted Supersoul; vishuddha-sattva-dhiShNyaaya - who is always situated in the transcendental abode; mahaa-ha.msaaya - the great swanlike Personality of Godhead; dhiimahi - we always offer. Let us offer our respectful obeisances unto Naaraayana, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is always situated in His transcendental abode. Since He is the Supreme Person [paramahamsa], let us offer our respectful obeisances unto Him (shriimad bhaagavata puraaNa 6.5.28). (translation A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami)
