For example here in Bhubaneswar Orissa the above occasion fell on the 2nd of May. Also Mohini Ekadasi here came on the 4th not on the third as you had announced. Thanks. Das anudas, Madhavananda Das (MODERATOR note: That's an excellent idea. In fact, I wanted to do this very thing. Unfortunately, the dates I programmed into achintya's calendar are based on the BBT calendar, which rarely makes these distinctions. At best, it gives variant dates for New York City vs. Los Angelos. What I really wanted is for the calculations to be region specific, and to include tithi start times and end times. If anyone else is capable of providing more specific information, such as region specific dates and/or start/end times, please email me privately and I would be happy to have you take up the calendar responsibility - it would be a great service and also give me more time to be involved with moderation decisions. - Krishna)
Guest guest
Dears Anudas & Madhavananda Prabhus PAMHO. AGTSP You can see online the Vedic calendar online at http://www.iskcon.com.mx/vcal.htm for all the major cities of the world (458) maybe is a good idea to invite to the devotees to check the correct date/time for their city. The calculations are in acordance with the last BBT's vcal program. ys Narendra dasa (MODERATOR note: I deleted most of the quoted text, since it was really unnecessary for this reply. Please, when you click "reply," make it a point to delete any and all quoted text that you do not need. Thanks, - Krishna)
