Prabhupada,I have been acquainted with the Singapore Hare Krishna Templefor 10

years.My services include e-preaching, prison counselling, etc.I would like to

first of all extend my thanks to the devoteeswho have created and maintained

this forum. It is so much needed.I have seen so much Gaudiya bashing coming

from other sampradayic quartersand yet Gaudiya Vaishnavas have not had ample

opportunity to address,understandand rebutt the allegations within a conducive

environment. They are mostoften shut offfor infringing upon the subject

parameters set forth by the other discussiongroups.Is there any particular

Vedantic discussion that is systematically followedon this list ?I am very new

here and hence not well exposed to the contents hithertopresented here.My

humble suggestion, if this has not been implemented here, would

tosystematicallystudy the principal vedantic or vedantic-oriented texts of our

GaudiyaAcharyas in a scrutinising manner,all this of course in light of Srila

Prabhupada's books.Govinda bhashya, Sat Sandarbha, Vedanta Shyamantaka and of

course SrimadBhagavatam have all to be studied very thoroughly in order to

understand andcounter possible opposition of our verdict on the part of other

sampradayas.We are the least interested in argument for its own sake but to

defend SrilaPrabhupada ans the sampradaya, we as his followers, should use

ourintelligence to defend. That is how the Acharya is to be defended just

asSrila Baladeva Vidyabhushana did at Jaipur on behalf of the Gaudiya

line.Perhaps we can start off with a vedanta sutra posting with purport

ofGovinda bhasya in a verse by verse format and relate the understanding

toSrila Prabhupada's BG As It Is, Bhagavatam, etc.This forum can serve as a

preparation ground for solid answers to SriVaishnava and Dvaita contentions

related to Gaudiya conclusions.My humble opinion.Your servant,R. Jai
