Guest guest
Hari Bol - I am so glad to be here and a part of this NG. I was an active member of the BTG NG for about 2 years now. I wish that more who would like to discuss their own private practice in Krishna Consciousness would add their opinions here, and that maybe this will be a regular practice so more of us could contribute fresh ideas and eventually evolve into a much larger NG. I chose the subject matter above to reflect upon how my own practice of "Archana Puja " has developed. I know that it is spoken by Lord Sri Krishna in the Bhagavad-gita somewhere, that he likes the devotees to offer with lotsa love and devotion four main categories of items, patram flower, puspam fruit, paulum leafy, and toyam water, and HE said that He would accept all of them IF done so. In regards to this, I beleive that the worship of Lord Sri Krishna is NOT enough, however when combined with the worship of His favorite devotees, the atmosphere becomes pure, or Vaikuntha. SO it is for this reason only, that I have established a genuine altar based upon the setup of our Iskcon temples, i.e., the installation of His Divine Grace Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Goswami Maharaja Srila Prabhupada, who is to the left seated on his vyasasana and directly to His left is the sringasanas of Lord Sri Sri Radha Krishna, Radharani being the hghest devotee from whom all offerings must be placed so that they become offerable to Lord Sri Krishna. Next I have framed a picture of Gaura Nitai, the Panchatatca, the 6 Gurus and 6 goswamis in our paampara, and finally a picture of Lord Nrsinghadeva for protection. Jai Mahaprasadam, Ki jai ! !
