Guest guest
Hare Krishna. I need help locating the following: 1) a verse (with verse numbers) from Chaitanya Charitamrita (or other authorized biographies of Mahaaprabhu) wherein Lord Chaitanya states that the Bhaagavatam is the best commentary on Vedaanta. I understand from Teachings of Lord Caitanya that this quote can be found within the context of His discussion with Prakashaananda Sarasvatii, but I was unable to find the exact quote in CC. 2) The verses (or section) of the Bhavishya Puraana in which Chaitanya Mahaaprabhu instructs the aachaaryas of the other four sampradaayas. I have the edition published by Nag. I'm pretty sure it is in there, but I'm not sure where. If I even had the Sanskrit verse (properly transliterated), I'm sure I could find it through the verse index. 3) Quotes from BNK Sharma's book _The History and Literature of the Dvaita School of Vedanta_ in which he says that the paramparaa listings of the different maths are inconsistent, or that the record keeping was not up to standard, etc. I don't have the book, so I would appreciate publication info as well as page numbers. Thanks in advance, Krishna Susarla
Guest guest
Thanks for this. I forgot to mention that I need one more quote. This is a quote from Srila Prabhupada from _Science of Self-Realization_. The exact quote is "We have nothing to do with that philosophy." It occurs in the context of his mentioning that we are descended from Madhva although we have a different philosophy. I need the page number, and preferably the entire paragraph. Perhaps someone with a copy of SSR or Vedabase can help me with this. thanks in advance, Krishna
