"Apa" means distance and "Radha" means lotus feet of Srimati Radharani. When combined, it means distance from the lotus feet of Srimati Radharani. Since a sadhaka in gaudiya vaishnavism aims to serve the lotus feet of their lordship, it is important that he avoids the "aparadhas".
