I would like to ask a question if I may, please forgive my ignorance in this subject. A devotee friend of mine approached me and asked me that if if we are not in the presence of our Guru, then does that make Krsna our Guru. I have searched through the Bhagavad Gita and Srmad Bhagavatam and can't located anything on the subject. I have found many places where Srila Prabhupada stated our need for a bona- fide Guru to dispell the darkness that we are all born into, and to learn to be surrendered unto Govinda.
