All Glories to His Divine Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada.

My wife and I awoke earlier than normal then cleaned our Alter Place extra

carefully plus bathed and massaged their Lordships Guara Nitai and His Divine

Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada.

I had this feeling that Both Srila Prabhupada and their Lordships wanted to go

for Harinam. Unfortunately we do not have anybody to help us yet. So I just

imagined taking them out through the streets of Phoenix in ecstatic Kirtan and

distributing halva.

I know that Srila Prabhupada will send some devotee/s to help preach in this way

in due course of time.

We offered Bhoga and then took parsadam...(we did not keep full fast..only half

day) but listened to the whole Bhagavad Gita on CD (VEDA BASE). The Kirtan and

plays at the temple was very good.

I had a bad experience when it came to the mid-night arati...I wanted to join in

with the main group but found that a Prabhu wanted to borrow my drum. He

expressed his desire to use it so I obliged only to find that he did not return

the drum or show any indication of allowing me to play my drum. When the arati

was over he passed the drum over to somebody else....and finally the drum was

just left by the wayside.

All this while I was thinking how selfish of him.....so appropriate of neophtye

devotees to enjoy on the expense of others. But upon further pondering I

accepted this as the mercy of Srila Prabhupada.  This was a lesson for me ....I

am no Kirtan leader yet I want to enjoy with the real Vaisnava's. I can only

follow the music beat and never lead on my own and whatever belongs to us

is only by the Mercy of Sri Krsna.

The next day I attended Srila Prabhupada's Vyasa Puja .

His Grace Bhakti Chaitanya Swami was present at the Sri Sri Radha Radhanath

Mandir and he lead ecstatic Kirtan. The only offering I made to his Divine

Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada was a simple Flower Garland. 

When will I be able to offer my mind,body and soul ?

The day after this I was invited to another celebration for His Divine Grace A.C

Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupda plus a Vyasa Puju offering for Bhakti

Chaitanya Swami by  (Madha Mangal Prabhu). They also celebrated a birthday for

his Son and a family friend.

 

Once again the "DRUM PRABHU"  was present. This time his father took my drum in

a similar fashion. Well at least I now know where he gets his etiqutte in life

from. Maybe one day I will learn to be more humble and tolerant by the mercy of

the Vaisnavas.
