Guest guest
Tue, 11 Sep 2001 18:58:44 -0400 ISKCONDC mail Devotees Temple Bulletin: Prayers for the victims Please accept the blessings of Sri Sri Radha Madan Mohan, Sri Sri Sita Rama Lakshman Hanuman, Sri Sri Gaura Nitai and Srila Prabhupada. The co-ordinated attacks on the two World Trade Center buildings in New York and the Pentagon in Washington DC are unprecedented in the collective consciousness of the world. While the extend of the damage is still being ascertained, its magnitude in terms of loss to human life is certain to be enormous. As one shocked survivor of the carnage in New York said, "Its hard to believe, but so many children have become orphaned today!" The ripples of the attacks spread far wider than those directly involved in the attack. In this time of need, we request all devotees to pray for the mercy of Lord Krishna, specially for the victims of this attack. The power of prayer in limitless and is also recognized by the medical field. People who pray and have firm faith in God are known to recover faster and are able to face adversity with much greater fortitude. As devotees we know that with the mercy of Sri Krishna anything and evrything is possible. So we request our extended devotee community to please pray with compassion for all those who are sufferring as a result of this act of terror. If any one is the devotee community needs help, please do let us know and we will try our best to assist them.
