Guest guest
Hari Bol ! Can any one please tell me when exactly we have to break the Ekadasi Fasting? I may be wrong, I think that in Padma Puran Lord Vishnu says that one has to break the Ekadasi fast on the 8th part of the day. Please advice reg this. Guest guest
Dear Narayana Pr. I hope this answers your question. Dvadashi (the day after ekadasi - the day of breaking the Ekadashi Fast): (To observe Ekadashi properly, one should strictly observe the breaking of this fast.) One should break the fast after the sunrise of the dvadasi, after the first quarter of the dvadashi tithi has passed, but before the dvadashi tithi has ended. (timings can be found out from the free downloadable calendar from http://www.iskcon.org/calendar/ your servant shashika - Sethu Narayanan <Sethu.Narayanan <achintya> Cc: <mail Wednesday, September 12, 2001 11:19 PM Ekadasi Fasting! > Hari Bol ! > > Can any one please tell me when exactly we have to break the Ekadasi > Fasting?
