Guest guest
Haribol! So it seems that the accounts of the meeting between Lord Gauranga and Sripada Madhvacharya has been confirmed in Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura's Navadvipa Dhama Mahatmya. Thanks to all who confirmed it. Now it seems that there is an account in the Bhavishya Purana too. I agree with fellow members of this forum, that if anyone can provide an account of this meeting from that Purana, it would be most appreciated. "O Lord Caitanyacandra, by devotedly serving Your lotus feet one can attain the pure love for Lord Krsna that is the ultimate goal of all endeavours. O Lord Caitanyacandra, O great auspiciousness of the world, I offer my respectful obeisances unto You. I offer my respectful obeisances unto You." - Srila Prabhodananda Sarasvati, Caitanya Candamrita 2:9 In service of Gaura-Nitai, Sanjay ===== "Radha-Krishna prana mora jugala-kisora, jivane marane gati aro nahi mora." In life or death I have no other refuge but Them." -- Srila Narottama Dasa Thakura Listen to your Mail messages from any phone. http://phone. In my manuscript this meeting is described in the Pratisarga parva, chapter 19 of Bhavishya Purana. Some manuscripts may not have this section. If I get time I may try to post it. If I get > time I may try to post it. I've got the Nag Publishers edition of the Puraana. Nag usually tries to publish "critical editions" of texts, if memory serves. That being said, I was able to locate the chapters using your coordinates. I have them as Pratisarga Parva, Chaturtha khanda, adhyaaya 19 and 20 (Bhavishya Puraana 3.4.19-20). The titles of these adhyaayas are as follows: 19: kR^iShNachaitanyayaj~naa.nshashiShya balabhadra viShNusvaami madhvaachaaryaadicharitravR^ittaantavarNanas shlo 66 20: kR^iShNachaitanyachiiratravarNane jagannathamaahaatmyavarNanam shlo 91 yours, Krishna
