Guest guest
Haribol! I don't think I was very clear about my question. I sing Sri Dasavatara-stotra almost daily, since my Deity at home is Lord Nsimhadeva. I have all respect for Lord Buddha, since He is mentioned in this beautiful hymn. What I am really wondering is this: when a devotee sees the Lord's Deity form, we bow down, like when you see Lord Jaganatha on the street at Ratha-yatra, or I even paid obeisances to a Lord Nrsimha that I saw in a museum. Is it proper to bow down to Lord Buddha's Deity in the same way? Is it proper to bow > down to Lord Buddha's Deity in the same way? One should bow down to all elders and worshipable personalities. I hope this isn't too vague an answer. I think it more or less answers any questions from the same category of thought.
