Hare Krishna Prabhujis and Matajis,

 

Please accept my humble obesciences at your lotus feet. My name is Amol

Katkar and I have become a member of this list from today. I think I am very

fortunate that I have joined this list at this time so now I will be able to

follow Upadeshamrita from the beginning. My heartfelt gratitude to all those

who are posting to this list. This really makes a lot of difference to me.

 

I live in Pune, a city in India. I have done my M.Tech. in Computer Science

from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and am presently working in a

software firm called Veritas Software. I was introduced to worshipping Lord

Krishna about nine years ago when my grandmother presented me with the image of

Lord Krishna (in the form of Lord Dwarkadheesh) and Srimati Rukhminidevi and

asked me to offer flowers to them everyday without fail. For more than eight

years I continued this as the only service to The Lord. Last year when in

college, I was introduced to extremely merciful fellow devotees and started

chanting the Hare Krishna Mahamantra. By the grace of Shri Krishna, Srimati

Radharani and all Vaishnavas, I am able to chant 16 rounds almost everyday.

Please bless me that I may be able to continue and improve upon this for the

rest of my life. It is only by the grace of Srimati Radharani and all

Vaishnavas that I will be qualified to serve our Beloved Lord and fellow

Vaishnavas.

 

Indeed, my heart soars to know I am in your association. I have on my computer

almost all books written by Srila Prabhupada. So if you wish me to render some
