Guest guest
I don't know where it is mentioned in Srila Pabupada's works, but in the Mahabharata, out of 11 akshauhinis on the Kaurava side and 7 akshauhinis on the Pandava side, the only survivors of the Battle of Kurukshetra are as follows: Krsna, Yudhisthira, Bhima, Arjuna, Nakula, Sahadeva, Satyaki, Kritavarma, Kripacharya, and Asvattama. Actually, this is the survivor list after the midnight raid on the Pandava camp following the victory of the Pandavas. During this raid Asvattama killed (with the help of Kripa and Kritavarma) the 5 sons of Draupadi, her brothers Sikhandi and Dhristadyumna, and others. So we are talking WW I style fatalities on both sides. Hope this helps, YS, Maharani dasi Make a great connection at Personals. http://personals.
