A time for introspection

In all situations there is always an immediate cause,

a remote (hidden) cause(s) and the cause of all causes

(Lord Krsna).

This we must understand, if we wish to break our

bondage to illusion and attain freedom (Prema).

Let us take, for example, the events of 9/11.

The immediate cause for all the deaths and

destruction;

was that airplanes "crashed" into buildings.

The remote causes, for those planes "crashing"; was

the misbehavior of Americas mercantile groups (big

business), with the US government acting as their

agent, in dealing with foreign countries, in obtaining

their resources, to make a profit. Lastly the envious

reaction of some (El Qu'ada), to above said

misbe-haviour. Ultimately enviousness, from both

parties, being the remote cause.

[MODERATOR NOTE: One may or may not agree with this analysis. However, I think

the points that are being made are more important than the illustration. Please,

let us not split hairs over analyses over current events, as such discussions

would basically be political and thus not relevant to Achintya]

Naturally as cause of all causes; Lord Krsna, working

through, in this world, His agents Durga, Yama etc...

trying to rectify His wayward children; canvassing

the Absolute Truth.

This applies to every moment of our lives. We should

be able, as devotees, to see the hand of the cause of

all causes, Krsna, behind everything that happens to

us; inviting us to turn to Him and go back home, back

to Godhead.

Of course because of our minute independence we may

rebel and not see the loving rectification. Therefore

more rectification will be coming; until our loving

surrender comes.

We may rejoice because, as devotees, we are under the

direct care of Lord Krsna as of the unfortunate

materialists are under the care of His agents, who are

much more severe in the performance of their service

to Lord Krsna.
