Guest guest
Bhagavatam 1.4.7 says: "yatraisa satvati srutih:" it is the sruti, for those who are in touch with reality (i.e, the satvatas). Similarly, 12.13.15 declares that Srimad-bhagavatam is the essence of the Vedanta, as does 1.1.3. It is also Vyasa's own commentary on the brahma-sutra: artho 'yam brahma-sutranam bharatartha-vinirnayah | gayatri-bhasya-rupo 'sau vedartha-paribrmhitah || The Srimad-bhagavata is the meaning of the brahma-sutras, the conclusion of Mahabharata, the explanation of gayatri-mantra, and the complete elaboration of Vedic wisdom. This verse is from Garuda Purana, as quoted with those above, in Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura's commentary on Caitanya bhagavata, 1.2.72.
