Guest guest
Dear devotees, I'm now happy to announce a new "recipies" section under the "files" area of the Achintya homepage. This will be a collection of text files or Word documents of different recipies submitted by list members. Anyone may submit. The only requirements are that the recipies be named appropriately (i.e., if it is a recipie for channa masala, call it channa_masala_1.txt or something like that), and that they NOT contains onions, garlic, mushrooms, meat/fish/eggs or other forbidden ingredients. This will be useful for devotees who are learning to cook and want to offer to their home Deities. It will also be useful for the hungry college students on this forum who can't easily get prasadam. In order to access the files section of the achintya webpage, you must already have a userid and password. This is different from mail userid/password. If you can access the Achintya archives, then you already have the necessary userid/password. If you cannot, here is how to get one: 1) go to the achintya home page (achintya/ or http://www.achintya.org) 2) click on "join this group" 3) click on "sign up now" 4) enter your information in the required blanks. For "alternate email," enter the email address with which you d to the list yours, - K

I forgot to add that most members already have upload privileges to the files area. Don't post the recipies in Achintya. Upload them to the "recipies" section in the files area. Some of you may not have upload privileges. If you are one of these, and you wish to upload a recipe, just send me a mail at achintya-owner and I will grant you upload privileges. - K
Guest guest
I would very much like to see a bunch of ekadasi recipes. Perhaps a sub-folder can be created to hold them. If anyone has ekadasi recipes, please upload them! Hare Krishna
