Guest guest
http://www.dwarkadhish.net/3e_dwarkadhish_temple/index.htm Lord Dvarakadhisha is now on the web! This is where Krsna ruled during His pastimes as the Supreme king 5,000 years ago. Check out the beautiful photos of the Lord's different dresses. At Dvarakadhisha mandira, they allow pilgrims to see the morning abhiseka (bath) and srngara (adornment). And nearby, Somanatha is the holy place where the Lord concluded His earthly lilas: http://www.somnath.org/html/index.html MDd
Guest guest
Wow! Thanks for these links! I'll add them to the bookmarks section under "temples." Do we know anything about the groups who created these sites? The Dwaaraka one looks like it was made by a secular group. I'm not certain about the second one. I'm not certain about the second one. I get the impression they're put up on behalf of their respective temple boards; I don't know if any particular sampradaya runs the Dvarakadhisa mandira, but I suspect it's the Sankaracarya sampradaya, since Sankara is credited with having renovated the current temple. By the way, here are a couple of other interesting links that each contain an amazing amount of traditional Indian lore: http://www.reetirivaz.com/righ3.asp http://www.indiancultureonline.com/Mystica/ MDd
