Guest guest
Hari Bol! Please, if you could, provide references for the beautiful prayers that you had cited for Shrimati Tulsiji's puja. Also, a lot of families in North India observe Sunday as the day of Shri Tulsi Deviji's day of rest. Therefore, they will not pluck any leaves not offer Her water. Some will not even offer Her any puja. Please clarify. If the ekadasi fast is indicated to be a maha-dvadasi then she should not be pick on the day of fasting. The mantra for picking tulasi is: (om) tulasy-amrita janmasi sada tvam kesava-priya kesav-artham cinomi tvam vara da bhava sobhane "O Tulasi, you are born from nectar. You are always very dear to Lord Kesava. Now in order to worship Lord Kesava, I am collecting your leaves and manjaris. Please bestow your benediction on me."
