Guest guest
Dear Devotee's, With your permission I would like to make a few humble suggestions about the article " VEDENTA, It's MORPHOLOGY and ONTOLOGY " which Krishna our moderator has so kindly posted it in its entirety. This article is a gem and the standards to which it adhere to are like post doctoral studies in transcendence. Therefore for the sake of uniform understanding I hope you will find my suggestions helpful. Like any other advanced studies the reader of this article will be able to appreciate the depth if they have the prerequisites. That means they have already studied preliminary articles in Ramayana and Mahabharata. Then they have moved up to Gita and Isopanisad following which they have read the Bhagavatam and then preferably they have read the entire Chaitanya Charitamrita. In between they also have read numerous vaisnava publications. The Jiva's who have come this far are certainly very fortunate and they are most poised to understand a superb scholar like Swami Bhaktivedanta Swaraswati Prabhupada. Scholarship alone is not the only qualification to understand transcendence at this level, a person must be honest, pure, free from speculative fervor and wired for aural reception of pure knowledge. It helps to be very humble and deem oneself to be most unqualified to even begin to understand an article of this magnitude. It is best to depend on the author to reveal the purport from the inner core and connect your neuron transmitters so a complete picture will emerge from the fountainhead of all knowledge Sri KRSNA. However if you do not have all the prerequisites please do not despair, read the article anyway, you will see the fabulous skill of the author. Keep on reading and someday it will all come together. Lastly a few words on methodology. Full comprehension of this article is not possible on the first reading. Even our Prabhupada had said, QUOTE: "Sometimes I would understand and sometimes I would not understand, but I would go on hearing " END QUOTE. ( source: A Ray of Vishnu ). So please get a good dictionary, a note pad, a good pen and focus on what I call line item study. That is take one paragraph at a time and study each line and dont go to the next still you have comprehended the present. Then please let your comments be heard. I for one will be eagerly waiting to hear what you have to say. All glories to Srila Prabhupada, YS, Ashokamrita.
