Dear Prabhus,

Please accept my humble obeisances at the lotus feet of

Srila Prabhupada.

Srimad-Bhagavatam 4.7.43

"The Gandharvas said : Dear Lord, all the demigods, including Lord

Shiva, Lord Brahma, Indra and Marici and the great sages, are all only

differentiated parts and parcels of Your body. You are the Supreme Almighty

Great ; the whole creation is just like a plaything for You. We always

accept You as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and we offer our respectful

obeisances unto You."

Srila Prabhupada teaches us : "In the Brahma-samhita it is said

that Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. There may be many gods,

from Brahma, Lord Shiva, Indra and Chandra down to the rulers of the lower

planetary systems, the presidents, ministers, chairmen and kings. In fact,

anyone can think that he is God. That is the false puffed-up conviction

of material life. Actually, Vishnu is the Supreme Lord, but there is even

one above Vishnu, for Vishnu is also the plenary portion of Krsna. In this

verse this is referred to by the word amsamsah, which refers to

part and parcel of a part and parcel. There are similar verses in the Caitanya-caritamrita

which

indicate that the Supreme Lord's parts and parcels again expand into other

parts and parcels. As described in Srimad-Bhagavatam, there are

many manifestations of Vishnu and many manifestations of living entities.

Vishnu manifestations are called svamsa, partial manifestations,

and the living entities are called vibhinnamsha. The demigods like

Brahma and Indra have been promoted to such exhalted positions by pious

activities and austerities, but actually Vishnu, or Krsna, is the master

of everyone. In the Caitanya-caritamrita it is said, ekale ishvara

krsna, ara saba bhritya. This means that Krsna alone is the Supreme

Personality of Godhead, and all others, even the vishnu-tattva and

certainly the living entities, are His servitors. Baladeva is the immediate

expansion of Krsna. He also engages in the service of Krsna, and certainly

the ordinary living entities are serving. Everyone is created, constitutionally,

for serving Krsna. Here the Gandharvas acknowledge that although the demigods

may represent themselves as the Supreme, actually they are not supreme.

Real supremacy belongs to Krsna. Krsnas tu bhagavan svayam is the

statement of Srimad-Bhagavatam : 'Krsna is the only Supreme Lord.' Worship

of Krsna alone, therefore, includes worship of all the parts and parcels,

just as watering the root of a tree also waters all the branches, leaves

and twigs."

Your Ever Well-Wisher

(excerpt from a letter written by Srila Prabhupada

... year and location unknown)

"...If you are looking for some excuse to doubt, then maya will always

provide you. So this or that you may find out something flaw if you want.

But Krsna says surrender unto Me and I will give you all protection, perfect

knowledge of everything. You should not go to modern scientists for perfect

knowledge. They cannot supply that. Krsna will supply you........

The moon may be like that or like this, so what does that

help to our Krsna consciousness movement. We have nothing to do with moon

planet or this planet and that planet in Krsna consciousness. We simply

want to serve to Krsna, that's all. Do not be disturbed by these things.

Simply go on with your work in positive mood. That will be best for you

and for other also. After all intelligence to understand Krsna is not within

the range of your material senses. You cannot make any experiments and

calculations and expect to find Krsna. But if somehow or other you are

fortunate enough to find out a pure devotee of the Lord, then you get opportunity

to serve him, and as you surrender Krsna gives you the intelligence by

which you may come to him, that is sure. No other process will give us

any intelligence to understand things as they are, except Krsna consciousness.

Your ever well-wisher,

A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami"

(excerpt from My Relationship With Lord Krsna by His Holiness Satswarupa

das Goswami, chapter 'My Constitutional Position' p.38)

"...'Srimate Kunti said: O Krsna, I offer my obeisances unto You because

You are the original personality and are unaffected by the qualities of

the material world. You are existing both within and without everything,

yet You are invisible to all.' (S.B. 1.8.18).

By some prayers, Krsna comes into view. In other prayers,

we gain faith in Krsna by seeing His pure devotee approaching Him. : 'Thus

he fixed his mind... in devotional service [bhakti-yoga]... thus he saw

the Absolute Personality of Godhead...' (S.B. 1.7.4) .... "

S.B. 6.2.7 (purport) "Simply by chanting one holy name of Hari, a sinful

man can counteract the reactions to more sins than he is able to commit."

(Brhad-visnu Purana)

Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare

Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare

your servant.....
