Guest guest
Dear prabhus, Please accept my humble obeisances at the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada. om namo bhagawate vasudevaya om namo bhagawate vasudevaya om namo bhagawate vasudevaya Srimad Bhagawatam Canto 1, Ch.2, Text 17 "Divinity and Divine Service" "Sri Krsna, the Personality of Godhead, who is the Paramatma [supersoul] in everyone's heart and the benefactor of the truthful devotee, cleanses desire for material enjoyment from the heart of the devotee who has developed the urge to hear His messages, which are in themselves virtuous when properly heard and chanted." Srila Prabhupada teaches us (partial purport) : ""Messages of the Personality of Godhead Sri Krsna are nondifferent from Him. Whenever, therefore, offensless hearing and glorification of God are undertaken, it is to be understood that Lord Krsna is present there in the form of transcendental sound, which is as powerful as the Lord personally. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, in His "Sikshashtaka", declares clearly that the holy name of the Lord has all the potencies of the Lord and that He has endowed His numerable names with the same potency. There is no rigid fixture of time, and anyone can chant the holy name with attention and reverence at his convienence... The Lord is more anxious to take us back into His kingdom than we can desire..." **************************************** Srimad-Bhagawatam 7-9-12 Prahlad says : "...Therefore, although I was born in a demoniac family, I may without a doubt offer prayers to the Lord with full endeavor, as far as my intelligence allows. Anyone who has been forced by ignorance to enter the material world may be purified of material life if he offers prayers to the Lord and hears the Lord's glories." **************************************** Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare **************************************** your servant..... ################################################################################
