To add a trusted e-mail address in WinCOM/MacCOM go to "Commands" -> "TRUSTED AND DISTRUSTED PERSON" -> "Add trusted person" and at "User name or E-mail address:" enter the e-mail address of the mail list (e.g. topical-discussions).
