Guest guest
Dear prabhus, Hare Krishna. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Please accept my humble obeiscences. I have been a reader of this list for a number of months now, but this is my first message. Please forgive me if I commit any "aparadh" to anyone on this list. I read Mahendra prabhu's treatise on "Demigod worship" in achintya digest no. 641 and Mukunda das prabhus answer to that. They were both a great source of inspiration and show that both of these devotees are not only highly elevated spiritually themselves, but also are trying to impart this to other lesser devotees like my humble self and prpogate Krishna Conciousness, for which our beloved Srila Prabhupada will be so joyful. Another point I wanted to raise is that Srila Prabhupada loved Krishna so very deeply , that in his books, you would see Krishna's name so many times. Other writers would mention someone's name once for introduction and then next time, they would say, "he" or "she", but not our Srila Prabhupada. He would keep saying Krishna, as even saying or reading/writing Krishna has the same potency as Krishna Himself. He realized that by saying Krishna's name in his books incessantly, not only devotees, but even demons would have to say it and progress in Krishna Conciousness. Haribol, Haribol This is what Srila Prabhupada wants from all of us - that is to remember Krsna all the time and not forget him. If fallen jivas like us are seeing Krnsa's name everywhere then at least it will help us remember Krsna. > (Remember God lest God forgets you!) Krsna does not forget us for one moment - even though we may forget him. Krsna is always looking for ways to bring us closer to him. It is we who rebel against Krsna's wishes and try to kick ourselves further away. Krsna is always in our heart and in everyone's heart and we should learn to say Hare Krsna whenever we see anybody - even if it is only quitely to ourselves - for this way we shall gradually come to remember him always.
