Namaste !! Hare Krishna !!

 

A short introduction about myself.

 

My name is Anand, and I hail from a state called Tamilnadu in India. I have

done my schooling from Hyderabad, AP. Graduation from Kurnool, and PG from

BITS, pilani, Rajasthan. To give a short intro about my family, my father is

an ex-serviceman. He was in Navy. My mother is a housewife. I have got an

younger brother who is doing his PG in a place called Mysore, Karnataka.

Recently I got married to a Krishna devotee ( non member of ISKCON ). I

consider myself very fortunate to have met her, as she hails from a very

religious family where all members of her family are devotees of Krishna and

are involved in bhajans and keerthans on regular basis. It was in Pilani

during my PG that I got introduced to my Guru shri L. Behera who was an

Asst. Prof. In EEE dept. He had done his Ph. D in Nueral Networks from IIT,

Delhi. His attractive personality, and helpful nature attracted me very

much. I regularly used to attend the Saturday evening program which was a

visitors day at his residence ( converted into a Krishna temple ) within the

BITS campus. It was an great experience in his acquaintance during my one

year stay in pilani. Later on in 1996 January ( when I passed out of college

), I started chanting on regular basis. I have visited ISKCON in Mumbai, New

Delhi, Coimbatore, Chennai , and in Bangalore. Wherever I went, I always

enjoyed my visit to the temple. I regularly visited the Sunday programme in

Secunderabad, and in Chennai. Now I am in Bangalore working with Hcl Perot

Systems, and I regularly visit the Radha Krishna temple in Bangalore on

Sundays.

 

In short, I can say that acquaintace with this Hare Krishna Movement and the

devotees, has changed my life completely. I have got a definite meaning to

life. I feel that I am very clear about my life and my goals, and what I

want from life. I am very happy to be a part of this forum, and it is my

pleasure to associate with you all in this forum.
