Krsna Himself recognizes the kind of preachers He empowered to spread Krsna consciousness all over the world (Gita, 18.69), just as clearly as this link is clearly listed in Prabhupada's Introduction to Bhagavad-gita; it's unwise to challenge such acaryas' authority. <<< Neither of the two have recognized any such relationship in their writings. Narottama has mentioned Krishna Das twice in his Prarthana (3, 41) along with other saints of Vrindavan. Krishna Das has not mentioned Narottama anywhere in his writings. Would you like to provide historical accounts from the acaryas' writings which demonstrate the guru-disciple relationship which existed between Narottama Das Thakura and Krishna Das Kaviraja? That would be helpful if you wished to demonstrate the legitimacy of Bhaktisiddhanta's presentation of parampara. Bhagavad Gita 18.69 states, "There is no servant in this world more dear to Me than he, nor will there ever be one more dear." Who is this dear person? In 18.68, He said: "For one who explains this supreme secret to the devotees (mad-bhaktesu), pure devotional service is guaranteed, and at the end he will come back to Me." These verse does not speak of preaching all over the world to everyone. It speaks of explaining the supreme secret of the Gita to His devotees. In fact, 18.67 states: "This confidential knowledge may never be explained to those who are not austere, or devoted, or engaged in devotional service, nor to one who is envious of Me." We cannot take the verse out of its context. Regards, Madhava
