Guest guest
Dear Devotee's, Today is the disappearance day of our Grand Prabhupada HDG Bhaktisiddhanta Swaraswati Thakura, so it is only befitting to pay a tribute to the ray of light from Vaikuntha who dissipated the deepest darkness of ignorance. To craft anything adequately about a " SAKTYAVESA AVATARA " who is extremely dear to KRSNA LORD is beyond my comprehension but nonetheless I make this feeble attempt knowing that my inadequacies will be forgiven. The glories of Grand Prabhupada is unlimited, a whole dissertation by itself is not enough let alone a small article, so here I will confine myself to one small aspect of his greatness. During the time Prabhupada graced this planet he had to fight many battles from all sides. The country was mired by the dark forces of Kali Yuga and most caste Goswamis were utterly disqualified to set any new direction for the welfare of the population in general. Caste Brahmanism has degenerated into professionalism for livelihood and they were in no place to enlighten anybody about the knowledge of the personality of Godhead. At this juncture Srila Prabhupada did what only an empowered soul can do, acting directly on behalf of KRSNA he awarded Bhahminical status to qualified persons who were not born in Brahman families. Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta Swaraswati established this practice strictly in accordance with the teaching of " HARI BHAKTI VILASA " by Srila Sanatana Goswami to carry out the mission of Maha Prabhu and by this action he became the modern father of Brahmanism which is avilable to all qualified people of all lands. Even though there are significant opposition our Prabhupada also followed in the footsteps of his Gurumaharaja and awarded true Brahmanism to people of all lands. This was absolutely necessary so that the divine prophesy will be fulfilled. Maha Prabhu have predicted that in every town and village in this world his glories will be sung and it is not difficult to see who HE has choosen to carry out HIS mission. Maha Prabhu's desire will be done and it will be done through the choosen ones whose seed have been planted by our Prabhupada's. Remembering my grand Prabhupada on his disappearance day and all that he has done for us and the world, I mostly humbly prostrate myself at his lotus like feet. YS, Ashokamrita.
