Guest guest
Chapter 6, verses 9-13: ..."the actions performed in the presence of Ignorance can only again create Ignorance. Then it cannot be anticipated that Ignorance can be destroyed by actions. // Again, actions do not give this effect (of destroying Ignorance), Again and again some result is desired from action. Attachment arises from desire, and some fault will make the attainment fall short of perfection. // Therefore, humanity should put forth every effort to attain Wisdom. Since action is mandated for existence, therefore all are bound to act. // The ultimate liberation rises only from Wisdom. Therefore action with Wisdom is a helper in the path of liberation. // Thus some say that (Wisdom and Action) cannot be in opposition. Wisdom cuts the knots of the heart, while Action makes this possible." Jai Maa! --With Mother's and Swamiji's blessings, may we all put forth effort in our various Sadhanas to attain this freedom from bondage! --Gautamananda Saraswati <*> / <*> <*> Your
