by a great mahatma about such a situation," god is

very fond of his devotees and he always obeys his

devotees.he is bhakta paradheena.so if one could find

a true devotee who is selfless and only wants god and

nothing else he can demand from Swamy to make his

Sairam.. Nice idea... I am in Chennai.. Can i know the exact venue of

the Varalakshmi Pooja so that I can also join with you... Infact, it is our

duty to do prayers for Swami...

Vara laxmi vratam comes in Second friday of August this year,tht is on 12 th August.

AP people believe tht it is a festival on which all ladies worship laxmi mata

for harmony in the family.Infact we have to call 5 married women and give

fruits ,cloth,kumkum,termeric,....( according to our sankalpam), need to take

blessings from elders.

Somany elders said tht whtever the righteous we want tht will be granted on this day.

Kalasha pooja,(a kalasham ,a coconut on tht, in the void place of kalasha we

need to put some grain ,on top of kalasham a new cloth,on tht all

ornaments.....)and decoration of all our Gold ornaments to kalasham,is

considered as laxmi.

I don't know,after marriage this is my second varalaxmi vratam,but my mom used

to do this very grand .so i decided to follow the same.

So iam just waiting for the answer from all.ofcorse everybody does this,but with

desires !!! why can't we dedicate this varalaxmi vratam to BABA,for his

health.for him to walk by himself!!!! etc etc.....we will see how much power

prayers got!!!!

My monkey mind is still in testing!!!but iam sure more than testing i got

something else about baba.just want him to be with us,as just he had been

before ...in his 70s.

One of the calender from pittsburgh (USA) venkatesha temple shows tht it is on

12th,but we can perform on any Friday like 2nd friday,or 3 rd friday.....But

iam ready as per baba's calender ,tht is on 19th.

i am waiting for others confirmation.

we will make it on 19th.

I will (all ppl Staying in US) start puja at 8am in the morning ,so tht india

time would be 6pm(ppl staying in India,cause apart from morning's pooja they

perform in the evening too).so tht everybody will be comfortable with this

time.6pm is the good time for indians to perform evening pooja and 5 married

women's vayinam.(i am not sure of any english word for this)
