Guest guest
some quotes from the lectures: You are not in the world, the world is in you, the moment you think you are in the world, you become slaves and are tempted by the desires and those ticklish temptations. While living in this world be every joyful. Let your lives be an expression of joy in every situation you face. Dont take problems as problems, but as challenges. It is not the physical strength, as that will pass away any moment, it is the inner strength you must build and it is that strength that will take you to great heights. Mahatma Gandhi and Sathya Sai Baba has proved by their example, that even with their frail bodies, they are masters due to their inner strength and control of mind. spiritual life should be practiced by yourself, and not with someone else. It is to be practiced by the one to the ONE. Compete not with others, but to yourself. Break your own records. Improve on your past performances. Each day should be better than the last. This way you will produce rewarding results than by competing with others meaninglessly. A small boy, not even the size of a thumb,in all simplicity and innocence, asked Swami Anubhavananda "Swami, what is the purpose of HUMAN LIFE?" Swami then asked the boy "what is the purpose of the eyes?" the boy replied "to see", then came the 2nd question, "what is the purpose of ears?" the boy replied "to hear". Then Swami said, "They both have only one purpose, eyes cannot taste or smell, ears cannot see or touch, everything has only one purpose. Therefore, HUMAN LIFE has only one purpose, and that, is to REALIZE GOD" OM POORNAMADAH POORNAMIDHAMPOORNAAT POORNAMUDHACHYATEPOORNASYA POORNAMADAYAPOORNAMEVA VASHISHYATE JAI SAI RAM unnikrishnan
