Disciple: Are there any guidelines for everyday living in which this

can be used

?

 

Guruji: Ofcourse, there are hundreds of guidelines. You have Muslim

guidelines,

american guidelines, indian, chinese. What guidelines you want? Books of

guidelines, giving the way to live and good conduct. All religions

talk about

that. You choose your religion. Guidelines are not given by choice.

The moment

you're born, you're born into guidelines. You're born into something,

which has

lot of guidelines. Dog's guidelines are different. Brahmins' is different.

Kshatriyas' is different. Each one has his own guidelines. The

guideline for

plants is, "Thou shall not move from the place where you are. You've

to get your

nourishment from where you're born or you better die. If you cannot get

nourishment, you die". That is the rule for the plant. It cannot go in

search

for water. It tries to shoot out it is roots in search of water a

little bit. If

it does not find water, it dies. The nature is compassionate to some

and not

compassionate to some. Compassion

is human's emotion, not nature's. Nature is beyond emotion. That is

why we say,

Devi is Roudri and Papashanti swaroopini.

 

"ati sowmyadhi roudraayai nathaastasyai namo namah"

 

She is most pleasing among the beautiful and most vicious among the

terrible

things. So, where is roudra killed in Devi ? If you're doing Devi upasana,

you're worshipping the roudra. Rudra, you're worshipping. "Rudrasya

Bhaavaha

roudraha" - The feeling of Rudra is Roudra. How can you delete Kama?

If you

delete Kama, there can be no life on this earth. Kama has a part to

play. You

cannot delete them. Kama is hunger. Why is there hunger, because you

want to

live. That is also Kama. You cannot eliminate kama,krodha,lobha, moha,

mada,

matsarya without eliminating the world.
