Dear Dr Ranade,

While the process or theory behind cloning may be against ayurvedic

rules, we have to accept that soon in the future we will have to deal

with clones, whether legal or illegal.

In such a scenario how will ayurveda look upon the clone in terms of

treatment and other factors which ayurveda considers like prakruti,

diet, regimen etc. For example can a clone be considered to have

purvakarmaj vyadhi.

Cybervaidya.

PS :- For those from outside the field of ayurveda "purvakarmaj

vyadhi" means disease condition resulting from actions of previous

birth, as ayurveda beleives in the concept of re-incarnation.
